Welcome Reception, March 14, 2001
The Welcome Reception was a great way to meet
other attendees on the first night of the conference. Attendees relaxed
and re-established old acquaintances and made new ones.

Once again, MW2001 brought together the latest
commercial web technology and the professionals who use it. At the Exhibitors
Reception, museum professionals saw a preview of the Exhibit Hall and
had the opportunity to meet the exhibitors themselves.
Conference Reception, March 16, 2001
The Seattle Art Museum hosted the MW2001 Conference
Reception. MW delegates were invited to a private reception and were
free to tour this exceptional museum and the current John
Singer Sargent exhibition courtesy of the Museum and Acoustiguide
Corporation, creator of the Sargent exhibition audio-tour.

Tour 1
This group saw the Web development shops at area museums, including
the facilities of the Bellevue
Art Museum, the Seattle
Art Museum, and the Experience
Music Project.
Tour 2
This group explored the .com side of the Web on a trip to Corbis
and ZAAZ.com, and
then restored their balance at the Frye
Art Museum.
