Kati Geber managed the Research and Business Intelligence (RBI) team at the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN). Under her leadership, RBI worked towards leveraging audience, programs and technology analyses to meet business goals in a way that is informed by innovations and research. In her previous role as CHIN's Manager of Web Applications Interface Design, she led the design of the award-winning Virtual Museum of Canada and other acclaimed sites. Recently Kati has accepted an assignment with Service Canada, which provides to Canadians one-stop, personalized access to Government of Canada services and benefits. At Service Canada, she is working closely with her colleagues to lay the foundation for a new client-centered service delivery organization, the Web Channel Office, that maximizes the potential of web technologies and responds to the demands of contemporary users. Ms. Geber's other current research interests include organizational change, strategies to effectively network organizations in a global, multicultural and complex socio-economic and political environment, and an interdisciplinary perspective into the contemporary role of internationality.
