John Gordy is the Head of Digital Media at the Freer Gallery of Art and the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution (www.asia.si.edu). Together the galleries form the national museum of Asian art for the United States. The site is devoted to introducing Asian art to the Western audience. Prior to working at the Smithsonian, he established the Web site for the Contemporary Art Museum in Raleigh, North Carolina. He also worked on "The Clubhouse Kids," pediatric healthcare software. He graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston/Tufts with a degree in Arts Education.
