Maurita Peterson Holland is an Associate Professor and Assistant to the Dean at the University of Michigan School of Information. She directs the Office of Academic Outreach which includes distance independent learning technology and programs and also mentored off-campus experiences for students. Her teaching and research involve information access and use, especially in the Web environment. During the past three years, she has worked extensively with museum and archives projects at Dine College on the Navajo reservation.
