Sarah is traditionally a maritime archaeologist and museum curator. She has researched and excavated shipwrecks throughout Australia and the Indian Ocean region and has written a number of books on shipwrecks. She has also completed a Master of Arts (design research thesis) on virtual museums. Previous web sites include the Western Australian Maritime Museum http://www.mm.wa.gov.au/, also see Diving into shipwrecks: aquanauts in cyberspace, the design of a virtual maritime museum; http://www.curtin.edu.au/curtin/dept/design/journal/4/3.html and has worked on web projects at the Smithsonian Institute. Sarah was the Best of the Web http://www.archimuse.com/mw98/frame_best.html competition coordinator for the Museums and the Web Conference 1998 and is on the program committee for the MW99 Conference. Sarah is currently the information architect and creative producer for Australian Museum On-Line http://amol.org.au).
