Rina Elster Pantalony

Senior Policy Analyst, Canadian Heritage Information Network

Rina Elster Pantalony obtained her undergraduate and law degrees at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and practised commercial and intellectual property law in Toronto. After spending a year studying art history in Paris, Ms Elster Pantalony joined the Department of Canadian Heritage as a policy analyst in Copyright Policy where she worked on the newly enacted amendments to the Copyright Act, specifically the exceptions for educational institutions, museums, libraries and archives. After an assignment in Arts Financing and Legislation, Ms Elster Pantalony joined CHIN as their senior policy analyst responsible for intellectual property and other policy issues.

Rina will present Knowing Your User: Effective Intellectual Property Management.
