Ingo Braun
Ingo Braun, born 1959, studied sociology at the J.W. Goethe University
in Frankfurt am Main. He earned his doctorate in sociology at the Technical
University Berlin in 1993. From 1985 to 1993 he was working as an academic
assistant at the Institute for Social Research of the University of
Frankfurt and the Berlin Scientific Center for Social Research. Foci
of research were technology in every day life, scientific evolution
and development of large technical networks. 1994 he received a graduate
grant from the Walter Rathenau Foundation for a research study at Stanford
University in California. In 1995 he founded the KULTURBOX GmbH where
he is currently active in science, art and new media.
Ingo will co-present Time-Travels
in Virtual Online Landscapes: New Presentation Possibilities with
Online Virtual Reality.
