Stephanie Pau is Associate Producer of interactive technologies at SFMOMA. An integral part of the IET team since 2001, she has served as a juror for AAM's Muse awards (2003, 2004), and has participated in the NMC's effort to upgrade Pachyderm. Pau is fortunate to have spent several years at California Academy of Sciences as a Curatorial Assistant in Botany, and at the Hearst Museum of Anthropology. Prior to museums, she worked for several years as an archaeologist, participating in field excavations, surveys, and laboratory research for projects across California, Hawai'i, Baja California, and Guam. She specialized in geoarchaeological sediment analysis for the Oceanic Archaeological Laboratory (UC Berkeley), upon which she based her honors thesis. Pau holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently pursuing her MA in Museum Studies at San Francisco State University.
