Mr. Namir Anani is the Director General and CEO of the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN), a federal government organization that enables authoritative museum digital content creation, access, and management for the use and enjoyment of Canadian and worldwide audiences. Mr. Anani is responsible for strategic leadership and direction in brokering effective access to Canadian and international heritage information for public education and enjoyment, and for the collective benefit of the Canadian museum community.

Mr. Anani has over 25 years of business and strategic management experience in IT/IM within the private and public sectors. This includes progressive careers within the Government of Canada, CGI (IT/IM consulting), Nortel, and Ciba (Switzerland). Mr. Anani's experience includes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Client Relationship Management (CRM), Business Integration and Alignment, Corporate Information and Business Intelligence, Telecommunication, Web and e-Learning, and e-Commerce.

Mr. Anani has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/IT Engineering (Honours) from the University of Salford (UK) and an MBA from Lincoln University (US). He also holds a professional Engineer designation (P. Eng.) in Canada.
