Ericka ChemkoProject Manager Ericka Chemko grew up in Nanaimo, B.C. and came to Nunavut in 1997. When she returned south for a couple years to finish her B.A. in anthropology, she focused on museum studies and circumpolar aboriginal peoples. Currently she is the Project Manager at Inuit Heritage Trust and is involved in a range of projects, especially learning about sharing information through multimedia, organizing archaeological field schools for Nunavut youth, and encouraging youth to pursue careers in the heritage sector. Ericka will demonstrate Introduction to Nunavut. |
