Paul Miller is Interoperability Focus at the UK Office for Library and Information Networking (UKOLN). His job deals with a wide range of issues related to enabling and maintaining the exchange of electronic information between communities such as museums, libraries and archives in an interoperable fashion, such that potential users of these resources may interact with them as seamlessly as possible. Paul has been closely involved with the Dublin Core process for some years, and is currently a member of the Dublin Core Executive Committee. Paul's background is in archaeology, and he holds a Ph.D. in archaeology which examined methods for mapping the development of sub-surface archaeological strata in towns and cities using Geographiuc Information Systems (GIS).

Paul will present User evaluation: sharing expertise to build shared values.
