The ScienceSource: A Curriculum Based Science Resource
Fawn Warner, Discovery Center of Springfield, USA
http://www.discoverycenter.org/curriculum/sciencesource.htm

Demonstration: Demonstrations - Session 1

The ScienceSource was developed as part of a Institute of Museum and Library Services grant. It consists of lab activities that can be downloaded for use in the classroom or at home, links to other websites and interactives that students can utilize at the computer, booklists, practice test questions, and other resources, all of which are aligned to curriculum standards and acheivement testing. The site is currently being piloted with thirteen classrooms in both rural and urban school districts. In addition to its stand-alone value, the ScienceSource has been incorporated into the museum's outreach program, with plans to incorporate the site into the distance learning program.
