Demonstration: Demonstrations 2

This demonstration will showcase a pilot website produced to illustrate some of the ideas expounded in the associated mini-workshop paper. A feasibility project is underway to demonstrate collaborative e-commerce by three medium-sized museums. The Museophile website aims to provide support for museums in a number of ways, including improving disabled access on-line, providing low cost museum e-commerce facilities and also discussion forums to allow interaction between people interested in museums. The demonstrator can explain and discuss the concept of the website and the technology involved, which will be made freely available to any museums wishing to use it.
