Sarah Kenderdine
Sarah Kenderdine is traditionally a maritime archaeologist and museum curator. She has researched and excavated shipwrecks throughout Australia and the Indian Ocean region and has written a number of books on shipwrecks. She has also completed a Master of Arts (design research thesis) on virtual museums. Previous web sites include the Western Australian Maritime Museum http://www.mm.wa.gov.au/(established in 1994) and she has worked on web projects world-wide. Sarah was the information architect and creative producer for the portal web Australian Museums On-Line (http://amol.org.au) from two years. She is currently Project Manager/ Creative Producer of Special Projects at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney and her work includes the virtual reconstruction of Olympia, and a large scale web for the Exhibition 1000 years of the Olympic Games: treasures from ancient Greece (http://www.phm.gov.au/ancient_greek_olympics/). Miss Kenderdine is currently working with Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa to examine redesign options for the portal web New Zealand Museums Online (http://wwww.nzmuseums.co.nz/).
