Reinventing the Modern: What is your Interactive Programming Strategy?
Astrida Valigorsky , The Museum of Modern Art, USA

Session: Demo Session 2

Over the course of the next two years, The Museum of Modern Art in New York will embark on a historic building project. This project will destroy and then reconstruct the museum as we know it in Manhattan. Beginning in 2002, the Museum will move to a new temporary exhibition space near PS1 in Queens.

As the museum goes through this time of flux, it will look to develop a series of interactive initiatives that will act to keep the museum alive in the space of the public imagination. So how does one approach the impressive chore of developing and then coordinating such an endeavor? MoMA's Interactive Programming Strategy will be presented through a series of information graphics created in conjunction with the effort.
