Franca Garzotto

Franca Garzotto is Associate Professor of Fundamentals of Computing at the Department of Electronics and Information, Politecnico di Milano. She has a Degree in Mathematics from the University of Padova (Italy) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Politecnico di Milano. Her research interests have focused on document modelling, hypermedia design and usability evaluation. She has been involved in various ESPRIT research projects in the above fields.

Garzotto was tutorial chair of ECHT'90 and ECHT'92, and member of the program committee of several editions of the ACM international conferences on Hypertext and Hypermedia (ACM HT'xx, ACM ECHT'yy), on Multimedia (ACM MM'zz), of ichim95 and ichim97, of WebNet '98 and '99.

She served as Program Chair of the International Workshop on Hypermedia Design, held in Montpellier - France in June 1995. She served as Co-Chair of the First International Workshop on "Evaluation and Quality Criteria for Multimedia Applications", held in San Francisco - CA, November 1995.
