Holly Witchey

Holly Witchey is Director of New Media Initiatives at the San Diego Museum of Art. After obtaining a Ph.D. in European Art and several years of curatorial experience and teaching, in 1991 she turned her attention to crafting technology-related projects for the San Diego Museum of Art. She has been project director and content provider for the museum's in-house system, multi-media special exhibition kiosks, and websites. In addition to advocating for better project planning at museums, she writes and speaks on the ethical problems that arise in museums as a result of new technologies.
