Holger Brocks is a computer scientist who graduated from the Universität Trier (University of Trier) at the department of computer science in February 2000. His master thesis was created at the Institut für Telematik (Institute for Telematics), a subsidiary of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, and dealt with the development of a framework for constructing component-based Java clients. Within GMD-IPSI, he is now working within the DELITE division. His main research interests include component-based software engineering, XML-based content retrieval and the development of "intelligent" user interfaces.
