Demonstration: Demo Track 4: Digital Collections

In the United Kingdom many extensive collections of paintings etc. remain largely intact located in more than a thousand historic houses which are privately owned. Heritage on the Web maintains a web gateway to historic properties and operates as an association between private owners who have an interest in attracting tourist visitors through the building of web sites and those who wish to visit and study their collections on­line.
