James Devine

Education Officer, University of Glasgow, Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery

In 1995, in association with colleagues from the Department of Computing Science, Jim initiated a collaborative programme between the Hunterian and the University's Department of Computing Science which has led to a wide variety of innovative multimedia projects focussed around the Hunterian collections. This has included an award winning web site incorporating audio, video and QuickTime Virtual Reality.

Jim has been involved in the supervision of several multimedia academic project teams with colleagues in the Computing Science Department as part of an ongoing collaborative efforts in developing new applications for leading edge technologies.

Jim will co-present Revelation: Pioneering International Education Using Hominid Remains and High-Fidelity Digital Models.
