Remo Campopiano

"president", artnetweb

Remo Campopiano is "president" of artnetweb, an artist collective. He co-organized PORT: Navigating Digital Culture project at MIT, a fascinating model of group collaboration and "curating" in a net age. Remo is particularly interested in VRML and is currently forming a steering committee to look into the feasibility of conducting a VRML Art Competition for the Convergence Festival in Providence Rhode Island, his home town, although he is based in New York City most of the time.

Remo will serve on the Jury/Steering Committee for Beyond Interface: net.art and Art on the Net.
