Birgit Böhme

Centre of Berlin Studies, Germany

Birgit Böhme, born 1963, studied at the library school in Leipzig from 1986 to 1989. After working as a librarian at the Bertolt-Brecht-Bibliothek, Berlin (1989-91) and the Phillip-Schaeffer-Bibliothek, Berlin (1991-95), she moved to the Berlin Central Library in 1995, where she is now managing new media projects.

Birgit will co-present Time-Travels in Virtual Online Landscapes: New Presentation Possibilities with Online Virtual Reality.
