Paolo Paolini is full professor at Politecnico di Milano (IT), and scientific coordinator of the master TEC-CH (Technology Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage) at USI (University of Italian Switzerland) in Lugano (CH).

He is the scientific coordinator of HOC-LAB of Politecnico di Milano (http://hoc.elet.polimi.it), where, from 1998, he has managed several projects related to ICT-based communication for cultural heritage (websites, multimedia, multi-channel applications) and eLearning (from on-line courses to collaborative 3D environments for education), e-Marketing and e-Tourism.

He has been involved in a number of research projects (funded from European Commission and private sources) and for several of them he has been scientific coordinator. He has authored more than 100 scientific papers.
