Adriana Olmos has a keen interest in the areas of Visual Perception and Human Computer Interaction (HCI). She is a passionate advocate of the user, the use of observational techniques and Usability Testing. At BlueSponge she works on a contract basis as an Interactive Designer, where she actively collaborates in various projects designing the interactive experience and information architecture following a user-centered approach. She received her Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications from the Universidad Iberoamericana Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico in 1998; and her Ph.D. degree from the Computing and Electrical Engineering Department at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2002. She developed visual perceptual models and experimental interfaces while working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the McGill Vision Research Laboratory and the Biomotion Lab at Queens University.
