Rosamond Kinzler is the Director of the National Center for Science Literacy, Education and Technology. A volcanologist who received her S.B., S.M., and doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Kinzler played a key role in the development of the Museum's world-renowned Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth that opened at the American Museum of Natural History in 1999. She has led the Museum's efforts in the areas of educational outreach for the past 2 1/2 years.
