Drew Koning has worked at the American Museum of Natural History for over two years as a technical producer and science educator. He also moonlights as an Earth and Space explainer at the Museum's Rose Center.

Drew graduated with dual honors from Sheffield University in England where he read Physics and Astronomy. After moving back to New York five years ago, he worked as a solutions consultant for some Fortune 500 companies. After several years in that technical realm, he felt it was time to come back to his first love: science.

Two award winning American Museum of Natural History hits have benefited from Drew’s online expertise. Ology, a website for kids, and Resources for Learning, a collection of interactive online activities, articles and more, for educators, families, students and anyone interested in teaching or learning about science. In local classrooms, High School students benefit from his ability to support complex concepts in the after-school classes that he leads in astrophysics.

Drew will present A Scalable, Modular Framework for Publishing Museum Educational Materials.
