John Slatin is the director of the Institute for Technology and Learning (ITAL). Established in 1996, ITAL is an organized research unit reporting to Provost Sheldon Ekland-Olson. We use advanced technology to bring the University's great resources to bear in creating aesthetically rich, intellectually rigorous learning environments that challenge students and faculty to the full extent of their capabilities.
