Melahat Hosseini is a graduate student in Interactive Arts in the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. She has a BFA in Visual Communications from Art University of Iran and has been involved with designing museum websites for National Heritage Organization of Iran. She also has experience in film and animation and has directed animation shorts for Iran Youth Cinema Society. Her current research includes design for virtual reality environments, interaction design and interactive narratives.

Melahat will present Influences of Concepts and Structure of Documentary Cinema.
