Karen Bellnier is currently the Peer Reviewer Manager for the American Association of Museums and recent graduate of George Washington University's Educational Technology Leadership Program. Her nine years in the museum field include:

- Education and exhibit development and presentation

- Program management

- Evaluation and survey development

- Research on learning and exhibits and on community dialogues

She also holds a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from University of California, Santa Cruz and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis. She has previously been an educator for the Schenectady Museum and the Junior Museum of Troy. Her professional goals include developing engaging communication and learning experiences through effective use of technology.

Karen will demonstrate Riversdale Historic House Museum: A Small Museum and the Internet.
