Jim works to create rich online media experiences for the Peabody Essex Museum. Since joining PEM in 2000, he has worked on numerous special exhibition projects. Some highlights are (pem.org/indian_market/, www.pem.org/izu/, www.pem.org/copeland/, www.pem.org/forbidden_city/, http://www.pem.org/newmuseum.html, http://pem.org/benson/index3.html, http://www.pem.org/embroidery_arts/, and http://www.pem.org/curtis/ Currently Jim is the Web producer of PEM's website redesign and is actively exploring new ways of expanding the Museum experience. Jim has a background in Sound Design, Interactive Design, and Printmaking. His clients include Salem State College, Applied Value, Fuddruckers, Techevolution, CC Design, and the Boston Conservatory. Jim has received awards in printmaking and creativity and has exhibited his artwork at the Winfisky Gallery (Salem), Mass Art Film Society (Boston), La Fete Du Sisk (Cambridge), Marblehead Arts Festival, Front Street Coffee Shop (Salem), and Rockport First Night. He is currently producing an online journal of new media design (attbi.com/~ambalogic) and exploring collage.
