The Global Links exhibit hall at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History contains three computer kiosks that receive downloaded NASA satellite images every eight days. The public is given the direct opportunity to explore these new data with guidance provided by the exhibition context. The designers will discuss the challenges presented by this kind of museum interactive program and their plans for a web site for the exhibit and future installations in development and scheduled to go live in June 2004.
