Close-Up: NMHM Tour

NMHM has a wide range of exhibits focused on the history of military medicine and medical technology. Groups see current exhibits on the museum floor and get behind the scenes tours of the Human Developmental Anatomy Center and Neuro-anatomical Collections to see some of the cutting-edge research being done in developmental and neuro-biology with the collections, by staff and researchers.

Specific foci - NMHM has a large school tour program. Tours are either general or targeted to topics selected by the teacher. HDAC and Neuro have programs to mentor high school students from throughout the DC metropolitan area. Public programs on various health topics provide free health screenings to the general public.
