Penny has been with the Speed for 7 years and works with most all aspects of sales and marketing for the museum including ticket sales, membership, sponsorship, special events, and product development. Prior to that she worked with Kentucky Kingdom as Director of Special Projects and Director of Personnel. She received her training in attractions management at the Disney University in Orlando, Florida. She participated in the Walt Disney World College Program and holds a "Mousters Degree" from Disney U. She also has a B.A. in Writing from the University of Kentucky and an M.A. from Bellarmine University. She is active in the Development and Membership organization of the American Association of Museums. She is often a guest lecture in attractions marketing at the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville.
