Linda Downs
Linda Downs has been Head of Education at the National Gallery of Art since 1989. Previously she was Curator of Education at the Detroit Institute of Arts. She has extensive experience in art museum education, has published articles and has acted as consultant to art museums in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and Eastern Europe. She is an AAM accreditation reviewer and is on several boards including the American Federation for Art and the Black Mountain College Research Project. She recently published a monograph on Diego Rivera's Detroit Industry Murals at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
