Lauralee Alben
Lauralee Alben is a principal of AlbenFaris Inc., a firm specializing in the design of interactive experiences for clients including the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Apple, IBM, Netscape, and SONY. Since 1985, AlbenFaris has been creating brands, web sites, multimedia titles, software applications, interactive television and other emerging technologies. Lauraleešs writing and design have been widely published, including at SIGGRAPH and CHI. Lauralee is the first recipient of the prestigious Muriel Cooper Prize, awarded by the Design Management Institute. She has also been chosen as one of the I.D. Forty, I.D. Magazinešs pick of "the most important design innovators from the West Coast."
